Gosh I really have to catch you all up on the news. It has been so long. I was so involved with all our events. Quota Craft Fair, Paper Angels Charity events and of course OnStage.
Well the Paper Angels Charity events were a great success. We have raised enough monies to purchase all the products to make and supply to our many hospitals.
At the Carina event, apart from having a great day making gorgeous projects we had a challenge put out to everyone attending by my colleague Liz Collett. The prize for this challenge is a Paper Pumpkin card pack, that is being trialed by some demonstrators. Paper Pumpkin is a very popular way of making many cards and even a beginner card maker can use this pack. I wonder if this product will get released in Australia...
Well the challenge was to go home and create some more cards or 3D projects using the Baubles stamp set that everyone received. A photo of the cards was sent to their demonstrator and would be judged impartially on the 30th November.
Here are the cards that were created. It would have been very difficult to choose a winner, I'm so glad it was not up to me to choose.
Well what do you think? What is your favourite card? Do you want to know who won the challenge?
Me too!! I will be heading over to Liz's studio tomorrow to find out the winner and then I shall let you all know. In the mean time, please leave a comment on the one you like.

Paper Angels Christmas Card Workshop
The first of our Christmas Card Workshops kicks off this Sunday at Pine Rivers. It is now too late to attend this event on Sunday 19th October. However there are a few days left to book into the Carina Event.
The cost is $70 and you will receive the Festival of Trees stamp set and All is Calm washi tape as well as a whole lot of projects to make on the day, including afternoon tea. This event is amazing value and money raised goes to our Footprints Program.
So if you are wanting to attend Carina please let me know as soon as you can because I need to order the Festival of Trees stamp set and the Washi Tape this week.
I will also be attending the Wellington Point event and even though it is in November the time goes so fast. So please let me know if you would like to attend this one as well.

Here is a little overview of what Quota is all about.
Quota International of Carindale is a service organization whose focus is to assist the Speech and Hearing Impaired and address the needs of Disadvantaged Women and Children. Quota International was one of the first professional women’s organisations founded in the United States. Our club also participates at an international level by financially supporting worthy projects, such as the Quota house for destitute women and children in New Delhi, India. To find out the full story of Quota check out their website.
So if you have nothing to do on Sunday 14 October, come along to the Carina Bowls Club and make a day of it. You will also be supporting two very worthy causes.
