Let's start at the very beginning - Day 37

I am in the midst of a wonderful few days with other Stampin' Up! demonstrators. We are at the Gold Coast Convention and there are some great new products coming out soon. I have had a peek at the new Catalogue and all I can say is WOW. You will have to wait till the 2nd of June to get a glimpse of it yourself. You will love it.

I hope these cards will keep you occupied for a while. I wanted to show how even the smallest of strips of cards can be used. I love how they all coordinate together. Don't the pearls look cute arranged in the centre. The second card is another version of the same design, just using different colours and strips.

Here is another couple of easy to create cards. Another way to use up DSP and tissied up with a strip of pearls.

Playing with spritzers

For our Charity Card Making day we made some gorgeous cards made from the Hooray It's your day kit. I decided to play with the spritzers and the masks and see what else I could come up with.

Now add the Very Vanilla Seam Binding ribbon and we have stepped it up a notch. I love this Moonlight DSP stack and I'm sad to see that it is retiring. If you would like to grab it at a bargain price then head on over to my Online Shop.  It was $11.95 and is now $5.98 while stocks last.

Let's start at the very beginning - Day 34

We are moving on to using embellishments. Ribbon and Pearls, just add that extra little touch, take it  up a step.  I love a plain and simple card and we've done a few over the last month, so let's not forget them but remember that we can always take a step up.

This card we created with only the stamp and the card stock.

Card without blink

Now we have stepped it up with stamps, cardstock, DSP and pearls. (sorry so blurry)
A Close up of pearls and DSP
Add the pearls to step it up a bit
I randomly stamped the sentiment to the right hand side only. Made banners from the cardstock and  layered it with the DSP. Then added 3 little strips of pearls on the banners.

Paper Angels

My team of Stampin' Up! demonstrators is called the Paper Angels. It is such an appropriate title as they really are Angels. We had our Charity Card Making Day yesterday to raise funds for the Paraplegic Benefit Fund.

The turnout was smaller than it usually is as some Angels were still spending time with their children before school begins again. Never the less, it was small in numbers but not in the generosity of the people that attended.

Tony South from the Paraplegic Benefit Fund spoke with such  passion and has invited us all to his 100th birthday party that he wants to have at the Brisbane Convention Centre. He must live to 100 he says so that he can realise his personal mission of making people aware how easy it is to become a paraplegic.

These were the beautiful cards we made. Although when you looked around the room there were lots of variations. People became very creative once they had a spritzer in their hands.

Let's start at the very beginning - Day 33

This is all I have left from my pack of Brights. What about you? Have you done anything more from the inspiration I have given you? It is now time to invest in a few more things. Another pack of Brights Collection, Real Red and Old Olive ink pads, Ribbon, buttons and pearls.

I have chosen pearls but the Rhinestones are yummy as well, also one of the ribbons is taffeta and the other is seam binding (no not bias binding) I really love the Seam Binding as it makes very feminine looking bows.
(Did you know that if you click on the images it will take you to my online shop)
