OMG - we had so much fun!

"OMG - we had so much fun!  14 people in all, so you can imagine how full my little apartment looked..."
This quote came from Leisha Ward one of my team members, and the newest Stampin' Up! demonstrator, after her very first Catalogue Launch.

Leishas Launch by zena kennedy independent stampin up demonstrator
Little did I know when I signed up to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator that I would end up with 5 ladies in my team. I loved Stampin' Up! from the minute I attended my first workshop and saw how easy it was to match everything up. I followed my demonstrator around to as many workshops as I could and told my family that if they wanted to buy me anything, that here was the catalogue marked with what I wanted/needed.

Then I retired!!! How wonderful, I now had time to play in my studio. However I had to find a way to make my hobby affordable. So I decided to join as a Hobby Demonstrator. I joined a great team called the Paper Angels and all my Stampin' Up! purchases were now 20% cheaper. I had inspiration from all the other Angels and life was wonderful. I started having classes and doing a few workshops but I still considered myself a Hobby Demonstrator, then one day out of the blue a lady rang asking about Stampin' Up! and by the end of the day I had my first recruit. I was so excited and so scared all at the same time. Then within 6 months another person emailed me asking for information and blow me down, my second recruit.

Well I now have 5 team members and they are the loveliest ladies and very talented. Each has her own style and I think this is fantastic as we can all gain from it. Although they don't believe it when you tell them so. Leisha in particular has surprised herself on how much fun Stampin' Up! is bringing into her life. Her catalogue Launch party was a great success, it was a fun day and she sent me a few pics of the day, that I would love to share.

Here are the yummy cupcakes and projects she had prepared for her launch. Doesn't it all look like it would have been a fun day? I do.

I love this Build a Birthday Stamp Set, so many different ways you can use it.

She is not only a fabulous card maker but an excellent cook, so everyone was treated to some yummy cupcakes to eat on the day and then some all packaged up to take home.

Hand-Painted Florals

The hand-painted florals look you see on our elegant Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper is more than just a look—real watercolour painting was involved!

Sarah Webb has been designing for Stampin' Up! for 3 years, using traditional painting along with technology to design this paper. First she starts out with a trend board, collecting ideas of decor, patterns and things that are trending right now. The colour blue and white was her target. She wanted a less organic watercolour look so she started designing some elements, changing the sizing and moving the patterns around on her computer. Each of the designs in the pack was created this way. I don't know about you but I’ll never look at this paper the same way again!  I love it and this is definitely one I want to share with you all.

Endless Possibilities with the Letters for You Bundle

The new annual catalogue just launched and we can finally play with all of the new products. Yay! One of the first products that caught my eye was the Letters for You Bundle. When I think of what projects to make with alphabet sets, my mind often goes to memory making. But the Letters for You Stamp Set and Large Letters Framelits Dies offer so much more—the large letters are perfect for making fun shaker cards or a striking monogram on a card or notebook. I love the versatility of these products and you’ll save 10 percent when you buy them in a bundle. There is also the coordinating Number of Years Stamp Set and Large Numbers Framelits. So many possibilities!

More Free stamps in June

That’s right! Every new recruit who joins my team this month will get two FREE stamp sets in their Starter Kit. That’s an added value of up to $178, depending on which stamps you choose. It’s a pretty big deal since this is the same time we launch the new catalogue and with the new stamps inside it.

Plus, anyone hosting an event with me in June could also get Extra Stampin’ Rewards, which can be used towards your Starter Kit. Have the stars aligned or what?

So I would like to invite you to join my team now, and I will help you pick the best stamps for your business!

Not ready to join the team! That is quite ok, there are still good things happening for anyone hosting a party in June.

Host a party for extra rewards in June

For the month of June, my hostesses can get $50 in Extra Stampin’ Rewards when they host a stamping event with $450 or more in sales. That’s more money you can use for products in the new annual catalogue, and you know there are PLENTY of new products you’ll want to have.

Swirls, birds = Swirley Birds

Don’t let the name of the Swirly Bird Stamp Set fool you, it’s so much more than just swirling birds (although I have nothing against birds and all you bird lovers out there). Mix and match all of the fun images and elements in this set to bring personality to your projects.
Pair it with the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits™ Dies and save 10 percent with the bundle when you do!
Aren't these projects just the bees knees?

There is still time to book into my Catalogue Launch on Sunday at 1pm. I have this cute little bundle. Come and play with it.
