If you had been looking at anything in the Holiday Catalogue and wanting to order it then now is the time. Why? Because the Holiday Catalogue sales period ends on January 5th!
I know I fell in love with a lot of things from this Catalogue, especially the stamp set Seasonally Scattered. So if you are after this stamp set or anything else from the catalogue, it will all soon be unavailable for purchase!
These are some of the Christmas cards I made to send off this year, from that set.

Memories of Christmas
I hope you all had a wonderful time with family and friends celebrating Christmas. For me it always brings up mixed emotions I am happy to have all my family around me but very sad for the ones that are no longer with us. It's at these times that I miss them the most and wish they were still around to share in our joy.
I think I will have a few scrap booking pages coming up as there was a lot of photo taking to preserve these memories of our precious times together. I am going to try and get some done in Project Life

Stampin' Up! is so generous
Hi folks this is just a quick post to show another reason why I love Stampin' Up!
When I joined as a demonstrator I looked into the "green" aspect of the company and was very happy with what I found. I was also very thrilled to find they were a generous and caring company. Take a look a this very short video and see why I am so happy to be a part of Stampin' Up!
View this short video of NBC speaking to Sara Douglas the daughter of the founder of Stampin' Up!
They are giving over $2,000,00, in stamps and paper crafting supplies to the Annual Toy Drive. How wonderful.

Last class of 2014
I'm not sure if it was the end of 2014 classes or just because I have such awesome friends but last night our final technique class this year was a crack up. We had ladies rummaging around in the dark in my garden looking for reindeer antlers, champagne corks flying and lots of laughter.
Some of you are now wondering what type of technique class calls for reindeer antlers and corks. Actually they have nothing to do with last nights technique, which was all about sparkles.
The first card was created using our Stars Decorative mask and my favourite stamp Lovely as a Tree. We embossed the stars and the tree with White Embossing powder and then sponged over the card.. Then sparkled the whole card up with Heat and Stick powder mixed with Iridescent Ice that we then heat set. The sentiment was stamped on a strip and then torn with a line of Tombo glue on the torn edge and sprinkled with Dazzling Details.
Such a shame you can't see how sparkly this card is, really gorgeous.
The next card we dry embossed the strip and then with the Brayer , rolled over White pigment ink. The ink stays tacky longer so we had time to emboss it with our Heat and Stick and Iridescent Ice mix. Sparkly Whisper White strips were added to the sides and the bow was attached using a matching brad. The strip was then stuck on to the base card and the sentiment added. Surprisingly this was a very fast and easy card to make, but looks very fancy.
As usual I can never decide what colour they should use so gave them the choice of Pool Party or Crisp Cantaloupe. I love both, what about you?
Lastly came the masked card. I love masking, as you can never tell what the final card will look like till you pull off the mask and reveal the masterpiece.
The sentiment was stamped first then scrap paper was ripped and placed over the card and secured down. We then sponged in Summer Starfruit, Coastal Cabana and Crisp Cantaloupe. We then stamped Snowflakes and the dots from the photo polymer stamp set Festival of Trees.
Then for the reveal, I love the ooh and aah that invariably happens at this point. Finally we punched out the Christmas tree which we had coloured using our Aqua pens filled with ink.
Each card looks so different depending on the tearing and placement of the mask. Did I say I loved this technique? Well let me say it again. I love this technique.
Now as these cards were quick and easy, yes I know, they look hard but really and truly we all finished early so we decided to help out one of the ladies with her Christmas decorations. This is where the Champagne corks and rummaging around the garden came in.
She was given the idea of making reindeer heads out of the corks and antlers from dry sticks from the garden. We painted the noses (end of cork) with red paint and then added googly eyes and pushed the antlers into the top of the head. A skewer was pushed through the bottom of the cork and a ribbon tied around to create a bow. Someone then came up with making them into place names so a tag was punched out and then threaded onto the skewer ready for the name. I didn't take any photos unfortunately but hopefully will get some and repost this page. I even went on Google to see if I could find an example but none like the ones we made.

The Apple of My Eye
I was inspired by one of our new Stampin' Up! demonstrators Facebook posts. She is an avid scrapbooker and is always looking for great designs.
Well she posted a gorgeous page that caught my eye and I knew I just had to CASE it using My Digital Studio.
If you are into scrapbooking and would like to try digital scrapbooking then why not try it for FREE. You don't have to make scrapbook pages. I have created cards, invites, banners and even some labels.
Here is my take on Kerry's post.
