During a charity event last weekend put on by The Paper Angels to assist Quota International of Carindale in raising funds for North Queensland Rural Family Support Services, one of the ladies at my table suggested that we should get together and make cards for the North Queensland Rural Family Support Services, as this was possibly another way we could help.
We decided to run with this idea and I have added to my calendar a few days and evenings planned for these events. If you are keen to make some cards, then get in touch with me.
You don't have to be creative, as you will be guided every step of the way.

Thank you for your support
Stampin' Up! which I am an Independent Demonstrator for, has been committed to giving back and making a difference since it began, and in 2003, they officially launched their Making a Difference program. Some of the ways they do this is to..
The ladies in the office have these cards on hand for anyone that needs them, residents don't always have time to think of a birthday or anniversary, when there are more pressing things happening right now.So these cards are gratefully received.
Also Stampin' Up! received a letter from the Auckland branch of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and I would like to share it with you where they express thanks for what New Zealand demonstrators have done to contribute.
Over the last few weeks I have been concentrating my efforts on making cards for North Queensland Rural Family Services and I want to send out a huge thank you to everyone that attended my card making days and helping make many gorgeous cards. Thank you, thank you, thank you... You have made a difference.
There will be more of these card making days, both for NQ and for Ronald McDonald House so if you want to come along and help, all you need to do is let me know.
- Support Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) through annual financial donations.
- Encourage demonstrators to make and donate cards to local RMHC Houses.
- Raise funds to help people affected by natural and other disasters.

"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things...
It is coming to the end of another catalogue year with Stampin' Up! So soon, the 2014-2016 In Colours will be gone.
On April 18, 2016 Stampin’ Up! will release the retiring product list that lets us know which items will not appear in the NEW Stampin’ Up! Catalogue that debuts on June 1, 2016. Of course we are always sad to see our favourites go away, however this can also be a great time to grab the products from the retiring list that might still be on your Wish Lists!
Now at the top of the list, we know that the 2014-2016 In Colours will be gone, gone gone. So if you love any of these colours and would like more card stock, ribbon or an ink refill to coordinate, then do not wait or believe me you will MISS out!
Because as soon as the list is released, these products will be available ONLY WHILE STOCKS LAST.
And last year, in some cases it was only a matter of hours. Yes I am not kidding. It is at this time that everyone realises that if they do not grab the Ink refills to match their Stamp pads that they will be out of luck. So there is a panic buying spree.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you – be sure to order your retiring In Colour supplies of card stock, ink, refills and the coordinating ribbon today.

The Clearance Rack has been updated
Yay! Bargains galore from extra Weekly Deals and now I just noticed that the Clearance Rack has been updated with heaps more goodies. I suppose it is getting closer to the new Catalogue coming out in June so they have to make way for other new yummy things. Sooooo if you want anything from the Clearance Rack and grab products at up to 60% off then now is the time.
I recon the best bargain is the Everyday Occasions Cardmaking Kit, at only $20.78 you can quickly create 20 beautiful cards for almost any occasion. The kit includes cardstock and envelopes for 20 cards, twine, buttons & clips, precut paper embellishments, Stampin Ink Spots, a 7-piece Occasions Stamp Set & clear stamp block. As well as a full-colour Tips & Tricks brochure for making the cards.
So once you make those 20 cards, you still have the inks and stamps set to make even more. Pretty cool ey!
This is the stamp set you get to keep. It has some great words, that you would use for all occasions.
So many more bargains but this one really excites me. Email me if you would like this kit or anything else from the Clearance Rack or the Weekly Deals.

Looky, looky, the Blossom Bunch Punch, love it!
How pretty is the Remarkable You stamp set. It would also make a lovely sympathy card.
Have you got the Stars Framelits? Get em while you can!
Oh and those Vintage Leaves, I love mine.
Please don't leave it too long if you want any of these, as I think there may be a rush on to make the most of the last 2 weeks of Weekly Deals. Email me if you want to put in an order or order online and get it shipped straight to your door.

Sad news - Weekly Deals is ending
Stampin' Up! introduced the Weekly Deals to help reduce overstocked inventory, and how exciting that was for all of us. I loved waking on Wednesday and checking out what I could get at a discounted price.
As Stampin' Up! reduced the excess inventory, the variety of products available for Weekly Deals has decreased, making the deals less exciting, so they're replacing Weekly Deals with a less frequent but better promotion called Special Offers. These Special Offers will occur every few months as inventory allows (the goal is still to reduce overstocked inventory) with more products and discount tiers than Weekly Deals. Sadly the last lot of Weekly Deals will be tomorrow the 6th and then next week. So if you have enjoyed the Weekly Deals like me, then wipe away the tears and get excited about these new Special Offers, as they are bound to be fantastic! In the meantime don't forget to check out the last few Weekly Deals.
