Mmmnn I keep using the Blossom punch, I wonder if I could class this as one of my favourites now! Actually I used a few punches in this card. The ornament punch made the leaves. Can you work out the others?
The Summer Smooches DSP is pretty cool, I think it might find it's way to my little ladies, you'll just have to stay tuned.
I embossed the Whisper White card with the new Adorning Accents embossing folder. All the punched edges were sponged to give each layer a bit of depth. Such a quick and simple card.

Christmas is over
I know, I know, it's July not December.
My Samp a stack Christmas in July sessions are now over. We had so much fun and produced heaps of lovely cards. As this was my first Christmas in July I decided to dress up the room for the event. So out came all the Christmas decorations. I sprinkled stars down the middle of the table and also punched out snow flakes and embossed them in various Christmas glitters.
I also made a cute little gift for everyone. Well what is Christmas without pressies? The design of these was thanks to fellow Paper Angel Anna Wheaton. She handed these out as swaps at Convention. Thanks Anna. I popped Kisses in my packages.

Happy Birthday Sarah
My Goddaughter Sarah deserves one of my special ladies for her birthday. So I made up some more of my Convention background. I wanted it to look groovy so I used bright colours. Not Quite Navy, Cherry Cobler and Bashful Blue sponged over Very Vanilla. I then ripped it and glued on to Cherry Cobler card.
My little girl has groovy hipsters made from Summer Smooches DSP. I added a belt with fringing. I made the fringing by ripping apart some ribbon and pulling the threads. The little top has the same fringing. I didn't waste the threads from the ribbon. I attached it to her hair.
Oh and the hair is made from the swirls on the Attic Boutique DSP. I do love that paper. So do you think Sarah will like her card?

Reason to smile
I don't need much of a reason to smile as everywhere around me I see plenty of reasons to smile. My lovely husband sitting beside me. New flowers coming up in the garden. Dinners with my children. My cat Gus chatting to the new neighbours cat Ginge. Yes they really are chatting. My interpretation of their conversation goes something like this.
" Hi I'm Gus, you must be new here? You are gonna love it here as my parents are crazy about cats"
"Yeah, hi my name is Ginge short for Ginger and I can see I have a soft touch in that lady that keeps coming out and trying to pat me".
"Yeah that's my mum Zena you think she is a soft touch, well wait till you meet my dad"
"Oh great I think I'm gonna love this neighbourhood, see ya Gus"
Anyway that's what I think they are saying.
These cards are made using the Reason to Smile stamp set. I am finding so many uses for this set.
This panel card was taken off a similar card I received at convention. I just changed the flowers to use the Reason to Smile set.

My baby turned 40
It doesn't seem like 40 years ago that my youngest was born. It seems just yesterday that I myself was 40...
So of course had to make her one of my special ladies. I really love the Attic Boutique Designer Series Paper (DSP ) and seems to lend itself well to my little ladies.
I used Pool Party card stock and stamped the Umbrella background out of the Rue Des Fleurs stamp set found in the Autumn Winter Mini Catalogue.
My little lady was created using First Edition Specialty DSP for her face and arms. Her clothes and the ripped background was Attic Boutique. The hair Soft Suede, and....... for those who think if you make a mistake you have to start again. She did have 2 eyes but they looked wonky so her hair was restyled to cover the wonky one. No such thing as a mistake ey?
I was pretty happy with the result and Tania was delighted with it.
