FAQs about joining Stampin’ Up!...
Question: Can I still join up with your team even though I don’t live in Queensland?
Answer: YES, absolutely. No matter where you live within Australia you can join with me and still receive my full support.  I can be contacted on Facebook, by email or phone.
Question: What will you help me with?
Answer: We can communicate and share thoughts, questions, have meetings, competitions, receive recognition and show ideas through numerous mediums. Also, we can catch up at any of the 2 On Stage events held around the country each year.  ​

Question: What are the minimum sales I would need to remain a demonstrator?
Answer: A minimum of $453.00 in retail sales, is needed each quarter. (so, that’s every 3 months.) Of course, because you will be receiving 20% discount on all your own personal orders, you will not be needing to spend that much each quarter. You may be surprised that just a few orders from family and friends every 3 months may be enough to contribute to this requirement as well. ​

Question: What if I don’t wish to hold classes but just want to receive the benefits of being a demonstrator?
Answer: That is perfectly fine. Many people enjoy just using Stampin’Up!’s top quality products at a discount and crafting on their own or with friends. What you choose to do with your membership is entirely up to you. That’s the great thing about Stampin’Up!, there is no pressure or expectation to do anything you don’t want to do. ​

Question: What do I get in my kit when I join?

Sitting Pretty Stamp Set

Graceful Glass Suite

While on holidays I have seen some gorgeous glass designs in Seattle. This suite of course does not live up to some of the glass blowing from Chihuly Gardens and Glass but it pleased me to see it had some lovely images and I think as it's vellum paper you can create stunning stained-glass effects with it, and the beautiful stained glass imagery is perfect for colouring.

Last class till I get back

Our last class before I headed overseas was all about going over techniques that we had done over the year. It also showed how you can make one design work quite differently just by changing the background.

The is  the Emboss resist background. Stamp and emboss first, then sponge over the embossing. We used Blackberry Bliss, Mint Macaron and Old Olive

This background is created by Smooshing.  We popped 3 colours on to an acrylic block and then spritzed with water.  Then we smooshed the card over the block. I love this technique, never have two cards the same.

This technique was created using our blends. Draw lines across the card diagonally one way and then the other to form a checkered look. Then with the pen tip end draw a contrasting coloured line across the card. So simple.

Now I am planning classes for when I get home. I have a few in my head and looking forward to getting my hands on my supplies when I get home.

Join in my last two classes

Wednesday morning and Friday evening will be my last class for a few weeks as I am going on holidays. Half of me is sad that I will be missing my lovely ladies but the other half is so, very, very excited as I will be able to give my daughter a hug as she lives all the way over in Canada.

This last class is going to cover techniques we have done throughout the year.

All dressed up

I have been going a little crazy scoring and folding and making cute little dresses. This has all come about because of my dear friend Liz Collett who is so very good at Origami. She is always coming up with fantastic creations. She showed me these little dresses and I have not been able to stop creating them every time I have some spare time.

Now I just need to figure out what to do with them all. Some of them I have added as gift tags, What else can I do with them. Come on now give me some suggestions and I'll reward you with a little dress.
