Gift Cards for Nikkis Nik Naks

I have been requested to make a bulk amount of gift cards for Nikkies Nik Naks. Nikkie wanted to be able to offer a cute little gift card to go with the jewelry she sells online. I made a selection of samples and then they got narrowed down to 12.

These are the 12 gift cards that made the cut. I made 50 for Nikkie and I'm looking forward to hear how they go.

One of the cards I made has a sentiment which says "Love you to the Moon and Back"  Nikkie has some necklaces with just this sentiment on it, so my card could be popular.

Awsomely Artistic Spotlight

Another thank you card sample ready to pop into the bag for inspiration. Everything is stamped in Smoky Slate. Then a spotlight of Rose Red is layered on top. I love the Spotlight technique.

This lovely stamp set Awsomely Artistic is fast becoming a favourite of mine.

A simple sample

I love it when there is the blast of a car radio and a thunk on the verandah , as this means a Stampin' Up! order has arrived in it's Big Brown Box and then I get to open it and rummage through all the orders before I have to hand them over to their new owners to enjoy.

I like to pop in a thank you card with each order if there is time and if I am lucky enough to already have a stamp set or maybe a punch that is in the order I will make the thank you card incorporating what has been ordered. This way they get a sample that they may want to replicate and give them a bit of inspiration.

This card was made using the stamp set Tin of Cards it coordinates with the Tin of Cards Project Kit. I'm sure there will be lot's of fun making this kit.

All about You

You don’t need a big image to make a bold statement on your project.

With the Hello Love card shown here, the stamped “you” emphasises that this card is all about the recipient. Use the stamping off technique, where you stamp an image multiple times before re-inking, to create a beautiful background. Plus our Greetings Thinlits create a fun focal point.

Weekly Deals 19th August - 25th August

Here are the Stampin' Up! Weekly Deals  ending 25th August. I can't believe the Stars Framelits are back on Weekly Deals again. A great time to get them with Christmas just a few months away.

Masking class

We made three totally different cards all using the masking technique.

This card had masking on masking to get this look.

 
We stamped the blue umbrella first then masked it up to stamp the red one. We then stamped the third umbrella. Once all the umbrellas were stamped and masked then the dots were stamped over them.

This last card was everyones favourite. Not only did we mask, but we created a faux frame. First step was to stamp the flower, then it was masked and we laid another mask over this. We sponged in 3 different colours then stamped randomly over this sponged area. Lastly we drew a frame around the images with a write marker. Pretty neat ey?

Weekly Deals 12th August - 18th August

Here we are again, over the hump and looking at a fresh lot of Weekly Deals.

Just in time for Christmas, Gold and Silver Foil and the lovely Gold Glimmer paper. Yep looks like I'll be putting in an order this week. If anyone else would like the foil or any of the other products, let me know and I shall be happy to put an order in for you.

Weekly Deals 5th August - 11th August

Another week has gone by and that means another lot of Weekly Deals.

I'm very tempted with the Squares Collection Framelits. In the past I have just cut a square by hand but often I have wanted to place a square in the card itself as a window and have not been able to do this. Also like the idea that I could make frames on a card. Umm what to do!

Technique class

Are you ready for some stamping up fun? Then come along to this monthly technique class. We will be revisiting the Masking technique
The cost of this class is $10. 
I will need to know numbers, so that I can cut up the kits.

• Friday 14th - 7pm 

Please bring your ‘basic kit’ to each class. This includes a paper trimmer, tape runner, double sided foam tape, multipurpose liquid adhesive and scissors. If you do not have a kit, there will be kits available for sale.
