Card and coordinating DSP

My plan is to use up as much of my retired Designer Series Paper (DSP), as I need to stock up on all the lovely papers from the new catalogue. So with each 4" x 4" card I am making an envelope with the coordinating DSP.

The daisy centre is made with the Daisy Punch and the Medium Daisy punch. The embossing folder is the Stylish Scroll and is now on the Clearance Rack.

Cherry Blossom class

This is such a pretty stamp set, you will love all the cards made with it and the dies. Would you like to come along to one of my classes?

A STROLL DOWN DAISY LANE - SPECIAL CLASS

I am holding a product-based class with lots of tips and advice for making many, many more projects, and the Daisy Lane Stamp Set will be the star of the show! There are so many ways you can make this into a masterpiece, whether it’s to tell a friend how great they are, or just to make someone smile. This Wednesday morning class is going to showcase the new catalogue. Because of our lovely trip away, I chose not to have a Catalogue Launch and just introduce some new products into my classes.

We will be using the Sponge Brayer, the new Glossy White card, some yummy Embossing Paste. I keep changing my mind about what to show, so there are no sneak peeks. You'll just have to come along and be surprised.

First class for 2017

Hello to all in 2017. Are you all ready for some creativity throughout the coming year? It's going to be a bit slower for me, as I am planning a few trips. So because of these trips I won't have time to plan the usual catalogue launch to showcase some yummy new products. I am just going to jump right in and have my first class using the new products out of the Occasions Catalogue. The Occasions Catalogue (live on 4th January) has some lovely stamp sets, hard to resist bundles and oh my goodness, gorgeous papers. Are you getting excited?!!!

A busy month of classes

Today was a full house, but loads of fun. We created 8 Christmas cards with a bit of a twist. One of my ladies had asked if we could do a One Sheet wonder technique, so I thought this would make a great way to showcase this technique. We used an A4 sheet of Whisper White and created our own Christmas background. We sponged, stamped masked and used bleach to stamp. Once our background was created we cut up the sheet to create our 8 cards.

Here are the eight cards we made, the beauty of this type of technique is that each one is unique.

Inspired by Awesomely Artistic stamp set

I have been asked to showcase the Awesomely Artistic stamp set at a special in-home class. In the process of coming up with some designs for cards and also incorporating the Envelope Punch Board.
I came up with some lovely Christmas cards that I had produced for my last class. As I said in a previous post, not everyone has a lot of Christmas images. They may have the words but nothing to go with them, so I decided to create Christmas cards out of regular stamp images.

By placing a scrap piece of paper circle as a mask and stamping around the edge you get a wreath.

 

Pop a Christmas greeting inside, add a bow and there you have a truly lovely card.

These type of cards I have made before, it is the Spotlight technique. Stamp the main image in Basic Black and then choose a colour for the spotlight, I chose Watermelon Wonder for the square spotlight and Real Red for the circle. I mounted the spotlight piece on coordinating card making it just a smidgen bigger.

 

I decided to show a square spotlight for those people that have not got circle punches. I like the circle spotlight better but if you don't have the tools, you don't have to miss out, just cut out a square. I think it works well, don't you?
