Whew where did this year go to?
I am sorry the usual write ups have been few and far between. I seem to be chasing my tail lately and when I finally sit down my poor little brain is too tired to write something.
The classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday have been going along well and we have covered some great techniques.
Here are some of the cards we have been making.
If you would like to attend any of these classes please email me:
When:
Every Monday 10am -12 noon
Every Wednesday 10am - 12 Noon
Every Friday 7pm -9pm
Cost: $10
Where: Zena's Craft Studio in Wellington Point (email me for the address)
Please RSVP which class you wish to attend, so that I can prepare all the kits.
Please bring your ‘basic kit’ to each class. This includes a paper trimmer, tape runner, double sided foam tape, multipurpose liquid adhesive and scissors.
* If you are a beginner and do not have a kit, there will be kits available for sale.

Some lovely colours
The colours on our cards are quite yummy. I love the new Gorgeous Grape, I think it could be a new favourite. These were our class cards.
The striped umbrella has been stamped with the new Poppy Parade. I quite like this red, although when you put it against Real Red it shows such a different hue. The Pool Party background came from the new Love What You Do stamp set.
Early Espresso was stamped on Early Espresso card. I love stamping same on same. The vellum was embossed in Early Espresso as well. We used the blends to colour the flower and we also coloured the Rhinestones to match using the blends.
The Tree Rings make a great background and works well with the Calypso Coral flowers and ribbon. The stamp set we used here was the new Love What You Do stamp set.

More than just scraps
What do you do with your card scraps? That is what I was asked and get asked quite often. It is amazing what can be done with card and beautiful paper scraps.
Then look what we can do with our coloured card strips.
Some of the ladies decided to use all the neutrals. I really love what they have done with them.
Then colours that make a statement. So many different colour combinations, the ladies enjoyed the class and went home inspired and ready to use up some of their scraps

Thanks for the inspiration Leisha !!
Since my weekend away with fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator Leisha Ward I have been creating up a storm with these cute little gift bags. My Wednesday class and my next Friday night class will be making these cuties. I also made 5 bags and their matching cards and envelopes for my garden clubs raffle. I can't stop making them I'm addicted to their cuteness. Thanks for the inspiration Leisha !!
