Still working on using up all my retired Designer Series Paper. This time cute little shirts used up quite a few papers.
FIND YOUR INSPIRATION
Do you need an extra dose of inspiration? Don’t worry—it’s right at your fingertips. All you need is a catalogue and a willingness to experiment. Start by flipping through the catalogues, and pick a project that catches your attention.
Then, CASE it (Copy And Share Everything)!
Here’s how it works: You choose one aspect of your chosen inspiration piece, and copy it on a new project. Then, use these CASEing steps to create three additional projects.
1. Copy the layout
2. Copy the colour scheme
3. Copy the technique

A Grand Kid Bokeh technique
BOKEH! What is this technique? Wikipedia states,"In photography, bokeh is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out-of-focus parts of an image produced by a lens. Bokeh has been defined as "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light"
This "blur" is achieved with layers of sponging.
This card was sponged with Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo. For the next sponge layer a mask is placed over the sponging. The mask is made up of different sized circles. This is then sponged over with Whisper White. The last layer is another masking layer but the circles are even smaller. Sponge over these with Whisper White. This has then been adhered to Coastal Cabana base. The sentiment is from A Grand Kid stamp set. I love this new stamp set, so many great sentiments for grandchildren.
This card was created using Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather and Blushing Bride. A mush softer "blur" It was then layered on to Daffodil Delight card.

One Year old card
This card was put together very quickly and used some retired stamp sets that I still love. My cousin asked for a last minute card for a 1year old. She described him as very musical and loved animals. I must have had my mojo working as ideas just came flooding in. I used Balmy blue card, embossed it with a retired embossing folder, stamped the keyboard and Happy Birthday sentiment using my Stamparatus. Then I masked the keyboard and stamped the giraffe from Animal Outing. The giraffe's were coloured with Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Blends. The other sentiment was fussy cut and then layered on to a piece of Balmy Blue, which was then fussy cut.
The sentiments were all from Music from the heart, The yellow layer is Daffodil Delight The number one was stamped in Balmy Blue ink and adhered to the Daffodil Delight circle. She was very happy with it. Isn’t it good when the right side of the brain takes over!!!

LET ME INSPIRE YOU
Do you need an extra dose of inspiration? Don’t worry—it’s right at your fingertips. All you need is a catalogue and a willingness to experiment. Start by flipping through the annual or January–June catalogue and pick a project that catches your attention. Then, CASE it (Copy And Share Everything)!
Here’s how it works—you choose one aspect of your chosen inspiration piece and copy it on a new project. Let's look at the Enjoy the Little Things card from page 125 of the annual catalogue as the inspiration piece. Then, follow these CASEing techniques to create three additional projects.
- Copy the colour scheme. The Great Places card uses the same colour scheme as the inspiration piece.
- Copy the technique. The Thanks card copies the technique of the original card by incorporating a die-cut background with separate cut-out pieces added back in.
- Copy the layout. Take the guesswork out of project design by using the inspiration piece as a template, the same as on the Love & Joy card. Simply mimic the design but substitute different stamps, paper, and accessories.
I'd love to see some of your CASEing from the catalogues!

Such a feminine lot of cards
Who wouldn't want to get a feminine card like these? All these cards were created using the lovely All Dressed Up Bundle
This first card we used white on white, with a pop of Melon Mambo. We embossed the first layer with the Tin Tile 3D embossing folder. The sentiment layer was created using the Stitched Nested Labels Die.
The sentiment and lipstick was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, the lipstick trail was stamped in Melon Mambo. We then coloured the lippy in with Melon Mambo and Soft Suede watercolour pencils. To make the Lipstick pop we ran some Wink of Stella Glitter Brush and a cute Melon Mambo bow.
This is such a sweet and simple card. We used one of my favourite retired card stocks Berry Burst and retired DSP The shoes were stamped in Flirty Flamingo on Flirty Flamingo card stock and finished off with a tiny Rhinestone.
Finally our most glam card. We used Crumb Cake cardstock. The Whisper White layer was embossed, we had the choice of several different embossing folders
The perfume, shoe and lipstick was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, the perfume and lipstick was coloured using our Blends. The shoe was stamped on Lovely Lipstick.
All in all 3 very feminine cards. Don't you just love this stamp set? I do!

Floral Essence class cards
So pretty, these 3 cards. All made using the Floral Essence stamp set. Floral stamps are some of the most popular. Flowers, petals, leaves and stalks, sentiments for weddings, birthdays and loved ones, this stamp set has it all. Also it has a coordinating punch, the Perennial Flower Punch. I love this bundle and I think my ladies enjoyed making these cards.
Who would have thought Soft Suede could look so lovely. This is my favourite card of the day. The Whisper White layer was embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. Everything was stamped in Soft Suede and then fussy cut.
The Floral Essence Bundle includes the Floral Essence Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Perennial Flower Punch.
We used Blushing Bride card stock and ink. We sponged an area on the Whisper White card, stamped the spots from the Perennial Birthday stamp set in Blushing Bride. The leaves were stamped in Blushing Bride and one set in Tuxedo Black ink. We then punched them out using the Leaf punch,. The main flower was stamped twice and fussy cut to make two layers.
We used Whisper White and Daffodil Delight for this card. The flowers were placed on a Stitched Shapes Die layer.. The leaves were inked in Pear Pizzazz. The Happy Birthday was fussy cut and popped on with our Mini Glue Dots.
