Special Children's class projects

The school holidays are a fun time, not only for the children but also for me. I love having the children for classes. They are so open to trying anything new. For this class they all made the cutest Teddy and a card resembling a block of chocolate.

Below are two of my teddies, a feminine one and a masculine one. So cute!

The teddy came as a kit, the children picked out 12 x 12 sheets of Designer Series Paper. They traced all the parts on to the paper and then cut them out.

The chocolate bar card was also a great success. The tin foil just topped it off making it look like an open bar of chocolate.

Shine Bright like a Diamond

Shine Bright like a Diamond

One of the best things about many of our stamp sets is their flexibility. Many elements can be used for any season with the right kind of cardstock, Designer Series Paper, or ink colour. This week, our concept artists have used the elegantly adorable Season to Sparkle Stamp Set to create projects for Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day–all from the same set!

Let's get Carried Away

I love being inspired by our Stampin' Up! trainers. In this video, Brandi suggests a class that you might like to try. She suggests you could get together with a few friends or ask me as your demonstrator to put on this class and make up these 12 cards.

This video class also shows how to make a set of 12 cards that go in an adorably decorated tin. It features the occasions catalogue Lift Me Up Stamp Set and the coordinating Sale-A-Bration Carried Away Designer Series Paper and Card Tin. These last two items are free.

I am happy to conduct this class if you wish!!!

Make an envelope

I know making envelopes with our Designer Series paper is pretty cool, however sometimes we just want a plain white one. If you follow the Envelope Generator or any other type of generator the algorithm comes up using 8 3/8" square. I wanted to use my A4 copy paper and of course it measures at 81/4" Sooooo, I had a play and guess what!! Cut an 81/4" square and start the punch and score at 31/2". You will make an envelope that will fit our A6 cards.

Hi I'm back and heading for ALASKA

What a busy few weeks I have had. Hopefully I am now on track for ALASKA!!!

What!... Alaska, you are asking?! Let me explain.

At our last Stampin' Up! convention it was announced that the 2018 Incentive trip was to be a 7 day Alaskan Cruise!!! Yep Alaska, one of the great perks of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is the chance to earn a fabulous all-expenses paid trip for 2 each year.  I have always been just a hobby demonstrator, having classes in my lovely studio that my wonderful husband built for me and doing the occasional workshop. However when I heard about this trip, I decided that I had to try for it.

My husband and I have talked about going on river cruises and also the Alaskan cruise, so  I have decided that this trip to Alaska is going to happen. I want to be able to take my husband on this holiday of a lifetime. I want to be able to say "Thank you" for all the things he does for me, the support he gives me.  I am putting it out to the universe. So as well as the support from my husband, I would like to say a big "Thank You" in advance to the support of my team who are always providing me with encouragement. Also a big "Thank You" in advance to my stamping and non stamping friends, who want to see me succeed, who come along to my classes and hold workshops and have events. I couldn't do this without you all.

Oh and in case you want to make the trip as well...

It’s not too late for you to earn the Alaskan Cruise yourself! Join Stampin’ Up! with me and we can work towards being on that ship together. Contact me today and we can make this happen.

Hand-Painted Florals

The hand-painted florals look you see on our elegant Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper is more than just a look—real watercolour painting was involved!

Sarah Webb has been designing for Stampin' Up! for 3 years, using traditional painting along with technology to design this paper. First she starts out with a trend board, collecting ideas of decor, patterns and things that are trending right now. The colour blue and white was her target. She wanted a less organic watercolour look so she started designing some elements, changing the sizing and moving the patterns around on her computer. Each of the designs in the pack was created this way. I don't know about you but I’ll never look at this paper the same way again!  I love it and this is definitely one I want to share with you all.

Pick a Pack of Patterened Paper

It’s been said that good things come in small packages. That’s certainly true for our Designer Series Paper Stacks. You get 48 sheets of 15.2 x 15.2 cm Designer Series Paper. So, without further ado, here are the top five reasons you will want to buy our Designer Series Paper Stacks:

5. The 15.2 x 15.2 cm size is super versatile for a variety of projects, each pack has 12 double-sided designs, giving you a plethora of colours and patterns to choose from.

4. With all of those various colours and designs, Designer Series Paper Stacks can help you figure out new colour and pattern combinations.

3. The size is also perfect for Thinlits Dies, which just happen to max out at 15.2 cm! The Baker’s Box, Pyramid Pals and Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies all work great with our Designer Series Paper Stacks—and each stack can make 24 boxes/bags.

2. For just $14.00, you get 48 sheets of double-sided paper, it’s the most economical way to buy Designer Series Paper. And the number one reason you should buy our Designer Series Paper Stacks . . .

1. Because below is the cutest project ever made with one of our exclusive stack.

So I couldn't resist the Botanicals Bundle, it consists of a stamp set, framelits and beautiful Designer Series Paper. However with this card I decided to use all the stamps to create my background. I just love this bundle and think it will be well used.
