Card Classes are starting

Happy New Year to all the crafters out there. Classes are finally starting back up again. The first one is on Friday evening the 1st February. I have been very excited about some of the new products that I have been playing with over the last few weeks. I absolutely love one of the stamp sets that is all about our men. It has oil slicks, petrol cans, cars,cogs and tool boxes.
Male cards are going to be the first few cards for 2019. It seems we are always making pretty cards with flowers and butterflies, however we are going to concentrate on the men in our lives.

Please bring your ‘basic kit’ to each class. This includes a paper trimmer, tape runner, double sided foam tape, multipurpose liquid adhesive and scissors.

Fun in the studio

Last Saturday morning, the children had fun making cards at my Children's Holiday Card Class. Years ago I made an owl card with the children and when I was deciding what to make for this class, I asked my grand daughter if there was any cards that she might enjoy making. She reminded me of the owl card from years ago. So I took her advice and it certainly was a great success once again.

We made 3 projects, of course one was the popular owl card.

The daisy punch was also very popular, every child loves a punch

Then of course, who doesn't like just plopping bubbles over a card.

BY THE BAY

Have you noticed the By the Bay stamp set in your Sale-A-Bration brochure? Charming Kits

As well as for stampers on the go,  I think kits are great for beginner stampers because they don't need a lot of additional supplies to complete the project. The Precious Parcel Kit found in the Sale-A-Bration brochure is especially great for beginners!

We are launched...

My Occasionals Catalogue Launch is now over.  Lovely people, lovely products and lovely food all adds up to a lovely morning. I had thought that we would play inside the studio and eat outside, however the weather here is hot, hot, hot. So the air was cranked up and we spent the entire morning inside.

When everyone arrived they received a goodie bag which had been created with pages from the old Holiday Catalogue.

The displays were set up and ready for the ladies to play with.

We moved around the table from station to station, creating 4 gift cards and envelopes.

Then ended with decorating a box for all the gift cards to be popped into.

Phew!

What a great morning. Then some yummy food and time to scour the catalogue.

Children's Card Class

School Holiday Crafting By now you are probably hearing "I'm Bored" coming from the kiddies. If so why not give them a fun crafting morning. They will make 3 projects to take home using stamp, ink and paper. There is no need to bring any supplies as I will have everything here for them to use. I have 3 places left, although could squeeze another in if necessary.
