Stampin' Up! LAST CHANCE SALE and Retiring Items

The 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue will be coming in June, and to make way for all the lovely new products that is coming with it, it's time to say goodbye to some favourites! Stampin" Up! have now put up their Last Chance list of items that will either be retiring or will no longer be bundled in the next catalogue.

Please make sure you check this list out as some of the discounts are huge, 75% off! How good is that. Also if you have a wish list and the retiring items are on it, please get in quick as they sell out fast. The Circle Punches are going, so are the Stitched Shapes dies and my favourite 3D Subtle embossing folder.

If you don't have the Circle punches, or the Stitched Shapes you may regret it. I love mine and would never let them go.

Here is a link to the Last Chance Items in my Online Shop.

If you want to see the list  then take a look here at the pdf

If it is all too confusing please email me, I'd hate you to miss out.

A little catch up news

Life has been rather hectic lately so my blog has had a bit of a back seat. Only posting when I get a minute. So here is a little catch up news.

30 years ago two sisters began the Stampin' Up!® company.

Their mission was simple, as detailed in its Statement of the Heart:

To love what we do and share what we love
As we help others enjoy creativity and worthwhile accomplishments.
In this we make a difference.

Now 30 years later, at On Stage in Brisbane, we celebrated with other demonstrators and got rather spoilt. This is something that Stampin" Up!® do each year, although this tear was rather special as it was their 30th Anniversary.

I was lucky enough to be treated to a special dinner, the evening before our On Stage fun began. The theme was Black and White. Rather exciting for me as I had to wear a dress and most people that know me know that I don't wear dresses very much.

The tables were set up beautifully,

and we got to see what we were going to
receive the next day. Look at this beautiful box.

No automatic alt text available.
This young man all the way from the states looked after us so well.

We had a photo booth to capture some happy memories.

Quite a few of our Paper Angels attended this event.

Image may contain: 8 people, including Anna Wheaton, Paula Mills and Felicity Laritz, people smiling, people standing

Such a great evening, however the next day was FANTASTIC!!

Stay tuned and see what fun we had at our full on day at On Stage.

Don't Quit Your Day Dream

The third Colour INKspiration Challenge is a fun beach themed, colour palette. I knew exactly what I wanted to make...

One of my ladies in a bikini at the beach...

I was going to hand draw her and then I took a closer look at the Beautiful You stamp set and thought, mask the hem line, mask the bust line, mast the sleeves and I have myself a ready made body to work with. All I had to do then was sponge her skin and dress her.
I had no problem using the Marina Mist. My little lady has her bikini and hat using the Marina Mist florals from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack. I wasn't keen on drawing in her feet (not good with feet and hands haha) so decided that the puddle from the other stamp would work beautifully. So she is up to her ankles in water.

I used our water colour paper to put a wash of Soft Sky, Marina Mist and Soft Suede. I stamped the puddle in Soft Suede from the Beautiful You stamp set, I then cut a slot in the puddle for her legs to go through.

The sentiment was one of the Free stamp sets that we are getting from Sale a bration at the moment. It coordinates with the Custom Tee Photopolymer Stamp Set I love the words, "Don't quit your day dream"

The clouds I hand drew them in Soft Sky, after looking at the shape of the biggest one from Up and Away Thinlits Die . The surf board was hand cut and then stamped in Peekaboo Peach with the Watercolor Words Photopolymer Stamp Set.

I ripped a piece of Marina Mist for the scene to sit on and then decided the scene should also be ripped. What do you think, is she living her Dream?
