My team of Stampin' Up! demonstrators is called the Paper Angels. It is such an appropriate title as they really are Angels. We had our Charity Card Making Day yesterday to raise funds for the Paraplegic Benefit Fund.
The turnout was smaller than it usually is as some Angels were still spending time with their children before school begins again. Never the less, it was small in numbers but not in the generosity of the people that attended.
Tony South from the Paraplegic Benefit Fund spoke with such passion and has invited us all to his 100th birthday party that he wants to have at the Brisbane Convention Centre. He must live to 100 he says so that he can realise his personal mission of making people aware how easy it is to become a paraplegic.
These were the beautiful cards we made. Although when you looked around the room there were lots of variations. People became very creative once they had a spritzer in their hands.
