So is there anything you have spotted yet? I found a few things that I needed!

Do you remember the Charity Christmas Card Workshop the year before last? We used the Photopolymer set Festival of Trees.  It has actually been reduced from $28 down to  $23.80.

I have these and love cutting them out 2 or 3 times and then gluing them together, it makes them 3d without trying to raise them with dimensionals.  These are $25.

Why on earth are these little envelopes retiring? I make a lot of 3x3 gift cards and these are such good quality envelopes, I use them all the time.  Looks like I'll have to bring out the Envelope Punch board and make my own. You get 40 envelopes for $13.25

A few of my favourites

Rightio did you all see that the retirement list is up? Yup and guess what, 3 of the In Colour ink refills are now GONE. Good gracious people waste no time in grabbing a bargain or just stocking up.
Every few days I shall post a few products to show you what is going. BUT and this is a big but, if you have been holding out on something and it is on the list, order it now please, it is all being snapped up so quickly. Some of my favourites are being retired and I must admit I had a little panic, then I remembered there is a new Catalogue coming and it is lovely.

So let's jump in with my favourite sentiment that is retiring (no I am not getting rid of mine), Sassy Salutations what a beaut set in both clear $32 and wood mount $42!

I use one of these punches every day, especially the flower. At Christmas time the star gets a real work out and the heart just seems to be a perfect size for lots of occasions.
$30 and already on low inventory eek.

Everyone that knows me, knows I like to find more uses than just what a punch is designed for. The Build a Bird Punch selling for $31 is one that I make leaves out of the wings and feathers for owls, the list goes on.

So there we area couple of my own items that I shall be keeping forever now that I can no longer replace them.

Retiring products - getting ready for the new Catoalogue

Each year we need to say goodbye to a few of our favoutite products to make way for new ones. Stampin' Up! send us a retirement list of all the products that are retiring and also discount many of the over stocked items. This is good for us and you as it means stocking up on favourites before they go for good.

 Why does this have to happen? 
At the end of each catalogue, some items have to be discontinued to make way for yummy new stuff. Our new catalogue the 2016-17 annual catalogue will still have some of your favourites, no not everything goes, phew thank goodness, what would I do without Gorgeous Grunge???

However it is a necessary process so take a look at the list and if your favourite is retiring then grab it quickly as all products on the list are only available while supplies last, even though the official retirement date is the 31st May last day of catalogue, they usually don't last that long.

If you would like to have a class with friends on retiring products/stamps  then let me know and we can organise a date. You know me I love to play, insert big grin.

Of course the first thing that is likely to go is the In colour ink refills, card stock, matching DSP, ribbon and other matching embellishments.

What will I do with my retired products?
- share it with my Bluecare residents and Ronald McDonald House people.
- enjoy making my own personal projects.
- have a charity event using the products
- use for door prizes, giveaways at the above events
So as you can see, life goes on and good times can be had using all the retirement goodies, so don't wait.

Shaving Foam technique class

What a silly day we had today. Shaving foam everywhere, even on our eyebrows, cards upside down, giggles every 5 minutes. Yep that was my Shaving Foam technique class today. If you would like to join me I will be having it again on Wednesday morning and evening. I can't promise that you will stay clean or that everything will go to plan, BUT, you will have fun!!

You will make 3 gorgeous, unique cards using the Shaving Foam technique and of course I have put my little twist on it.

The cost of this class is $10.
I will need to know numbers, so that I can cut up the kits.

Please bring your ‘basic kit’ to each class. This includes a paper trimmer, tape runner, double sided foam tape, multipurpose liquid adhesive and scissors. If you do not have a kit, there will be kits available for sale.

I need it all, Going, going..

Nearly Gone...
Wow I really do need it all from this weeks deals. This is the last week of the Weekly Deals. Don't be sad now there are going to be other special offers coming. Monday and Wednesday classes

Come and create some Simple cards with a touch of colour. It's not all about layers. There are a few different techniques in this class.

You will create 3 gorgeous cards to take home.


I will need to know numbers, so that I can cut up the kits.

 It is coming to the end of another catalogue year with Stampin' Up! So soon, the 2014-2016 In Colours will be gone.

 On April 18, 2016 Stampin’ Up! will release the retiring product list that lets us know which items will not appear in the NEW Stampin’ Up! Catalogue that debuts on June 1, 2016.  Of course we are always sad to see our favourites go away, however this can also be a great time to grab the products from the retiring list that might still be on your Wish Lists!

Now at the top of the list, we know that the 2014-2016 In Colours will be gone, gone gone.   So if you love any of these colours and would like more card stock, ribbon or an ink refill to coordinate, then do not wait or believe me you will MISS out!

Because as soon as the list is released, these products will be available ONLY WHILE STOCKS LAST.

And last year, in some cases it was only a matter of hours. Yes I am not kidding. It is at this time that everyone realises that if they do not grab the Ink refills to match their Stamp pads that they will be out of luck. So there is a panic buying spree.

The Clearance Rack has been updated

Yay! Bargains galore from extra Weekly Deals and now I just noticed that the Clearance Rack has been updated with heaps more goodies. I suppose it is getting closer to the new Catalogue coming out in June so they have to make way for other new yummy things. Sad news - Weekly Deals is ending

Stampin' Up! introduced the Weekly Deals to help reduce overstocked inventory, and how exciting that was for all of us. I loved waking on Wednesday and checking out what I could get at a discounted price.

As Stampin' Up! reduced the excess inventory, the variety of products available for Weekly Deals has decreased, making the deals less exciting, so they're replacing Weekly Deals with a less frequent but better promotion called Special Offers. These Special Offers will occur every few months as inventory allows (the goal is still to reduce overstocked inventory) with more products and discount tiers than Weekly Deals. Sadly the last lot of  Weekly Deals will be tomorrow the 6th and then next week. So if you have enjoyed the Weekly Deals like me, then wipe away the tears and get excited about these new Special Offers, as they are bound to be fantastic! In the meantime don't forget to check out the last few Weekly Deals.

Quota International of Carindale is a club that we as Stampin' Up! demonstrators are happy to support. Each year they have a Craft and Gift Fair that we have been attending for over 10 years and during those years we have also combined with them to raise monies for various charities.

Well today I am inviting you to attend another of their fundraisers. On Monday 2nd May (Public Holiday) we will be holding a Charity Cardmaking Day, to support North Queensland Rural Family Support Services.

Each person attending will make 27 cards, be provided with lunch and afternoon tea and take home extra craft supplies left over from the kit you will be supplied. The cost of this day is $60, I think this is great value for a day full of creativity and getting together with friends.
